Forward Regulatory Plan

The Canadian Dairy Commission’s Forward Regulatory Plan for 2025 to 2027:

  • is a publicly available list, with descriptions, of planned or anticipated regulatory changes (regulatory initiatives) that the Canadian Dairy Commission intends to propose or finalize within a 2 year period
  • may include regulatory initiatives that are planned to come forward over a longer time frame and that are indicated as long-term

Programs

Canadian Dairy Commission programs vitalize Canada’s dairy industry

As lead facilitator and administrator, the Commission undertakes several activities and administers several programs on behalf of the industry. The Commission works in close cooperation with provincial authorities and sector representatives to deliver programs that address its main responsibilities.

Annual public meetings

The Canadian Dairy Commission holds a public meeting every year. At this meeting, members of senior management provide an overview of the Commission’s achievements during the previous 12 months.

The annual public meeting also provides an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Commission’s activities and ask questions of the senior management team.

The Commission publishes the slides projected at the annual public meeting, along with the opening remarks, to share this information with those who were unable to attend the meeting.

This portion of the site is devoted to recognizing Canadian food science and technology institutions that are playing a crucial role in providing technical expertise to the various Canadian Dairy Commission programs.
