Milk processors registered with the CFIA, further processors (food product manufacturers or other), or Canadian and foreign investors may apply to the MAG program once they demonstrate that their activities will grow the overall demand for milk and milk products in Canada.

- Net increase in the use of Canadian milk or milk ingredients with limited impact on similar products currently manufactured from Canadian milk or ingredients.
