Class 3(d) Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for Class 3(d):

  • Your establishment must be a Canadian restaurant primarily engaged in preparing meals, snacks and beverages to customer order, and selling pizzas prepared and cooked on site, and it is not a cafeteria, institutional food service or catering operation.
  • The restaurant must use Mozzarella cheese in packages of not less than 2 kg on a net weight basis for use only on pizza prepared and cooked on site.
  • The restaurant must have a food menu which includes pizza and you must agree to supply the CDC with a copy of the full menu.
  • The applicant must read the Class 3(d) Guide and complete the Class 3(d) Application Form through the link at the end of the guide.
