Canadian Dairy Commission Forward Regulatory Plan

Canadian Dairy Commission Forward Regulatory Plan

The forward regulatory plan takes the form of a list or description, accessible to the public, that lists the regulatory amendments a department actually or potentially intends to make within a specified time. The purpose is to give consumers, businesses and other stakeholders and business partners the opportunity to intervene in the drafting of regulations and to plan for the future. It must be noted, however, that this plan is expected to be changed and updated as the Canadian Dairy Commission’s operating context evolves. This plan provides information about the planned or potential regulatory initiatives that the Canadian Dairy Commission actually or potentially intends to implement over the next two years. It also describes the potential for public consultation and provides information on the department’s contact person for each of these initiatives.
