SMCPP Software Product Info

A software product is now available to Special Milk Class Permit holders. Created by Intregrated Information Vertex (I2V) at the request of a Special Class Permit holder, CDI is a simple, user-friendly software that was designed to be as an add-on to the client's existing system. Intelligent and robust, it will manage, report and audit manufacturers' or distributors' monthly dairy ingredients usage. I2V re-factored and enhanced the application to accommodate the integration with any type of accounting/ERP system.

It is an excellent tool for all permit holders who are facing challenges with their current inventory techniques. The program centralizes all data into one single repository and generates an automatic compilation of the reported data.

Business functionalities
CDI has many business functionalities to make reporting easier. The products function defines and maintains end products, imports end products from accounting software and assigns and defines product UOM multiplier. The recipe function declares and maintains dairy ingredients, declares and maintains CDC numbers as well as maintains product recipes.

CDI declares as well as maintains suppliers for dairy ingredients, captures, imports and maintains dairy ingredient purchase orders, and finally, records and maintains dairy ingredients inventory.

Reports
CDI enables you to print detailed sales reports that are used to showcase the usage of milk ingredients by end product and to generate the necessary reporting data transmitted to the Canadian Dairy Commission.

P/O reports showcasing purchased ingredients, by date and by supplier or by all and used to view and report the purchases committed during a period of time can also be printed.

Finally, you can also print recipe reports used to showcase the detailed ingredients and their amounts by CDC product number.

CDC Report Submittal
The CDC report submittal function allows you to export and email sales and purchases reports in CDC format.

Benefits
  • Centralized repository of all dairy ingredients usage information.
  • History of past dairy ingredients usage.
  • Simplified and automatic reporting to the CDC.
  • Accurate reporting in shorter span of time.
The CDC's Information Technology (IT) group along with several Special Milk Class Permit Program agents have tested the software and feel it could be very beneficial for permit holders.
